I am happily casting my vote for Doug Rhoades.

I believe strongly that he would be the best candidate for D.A. in the upcoming election. I have known Doug for many years and have attended most of the debates that have taken place in this county. I stand behind his ideas.

Over the past twenty years, I have resided in this county as a school psychologist and active community member. I have personally and professionally experienced the need for careful management of law enforcement from someone knowledgeable, willing to dedicate their time and energy, and to stay abreast of the current best practices.

Hopefully, others will take notice of both candidate’s various positions and use their good judgment to ensure that the best candidate wins the upcoming election.

I am writing this in support of Doug Rhoades for the office of District Attorney. Having served on the Board Of Supervisors for two terms, I have great concerns for the fiscal well being of our county. I know Doug to be a long time citizen of Lake County, and I feel that he knows the budget process and will prioritize the expenses of the District Attorney’s office.

His having experience as a Deputy Sheriff and a Public Defender, he can look for a more efficient way to run the office.

We must find a better way to operate county government. The District Attorney’s office has been passed down for too many years, it is time for change. We need to make a change from the same as Usual.

Therefore I am supporting Dough Rhoades for the office of District Attorney

I first met Doug when he was the Sheriff’s Bailiff at the courthouse. He was calm, professional, and unflappable, and restored order in what could be called “controlled chaos” in a courtroom. He will continue to bring these sorely-needed qualities into his new job as District Attorney.
